Cooking Instructions for Matt Rice Pressure Cooker Method

1. Add 1 cup of rice and 3 cups of water to a pressure cooker.

2. Close the lid and cook on medium heat for 3 whistles .

3. Turn off the heat and allow the pressure to release naturally .

4. Fluff the rice with a spatula and serve hot with your choice of curry.

Open Pot Method

1. Pour approximately 2 liters of water into a thick-bottomed vessel and bring it to a boil.

2. Add 1 cup (200g) of rice to the boiling water.

3. Cook uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes , or until the rice is tender.
